The newest arrivals to campus follow the trend set by previous SU freshmen

The Syracuse University Class of 2012 brings the exact same average high school grade point average and similar SAT scores than the previous year. The accepted first-year students - with 19 more applications than the Class of 2011 - are composed of fewer women, fewer out-of-state residents and more students from a broader global scope, representing 115 foreign countries.
