Syracuse reportedly adds defensive lineman Giudice to Class of 2015 verbal commits

Unranked defensive lineman Anthony Giudice joined Syracuse’s Class of 2015, becoming the 10th verbal commitment in the group, according to multiple reports.

Giudice is a 6-foot-3, 256-pound defensive tackle from Avon (Conn.) Old Farms High School, according to Scout.com. He joins two-star defensive end Dana Levine of Florida as the only two players on the defensive side of the ball to pledge to Syracuse’s Class of 2015.

Giudice chose SU over an offer from New Hampshire and also received interest from Pittsburgh, Connecticut and Boston College, according to Scout.

He is SU’s first recruit in the class from Connecticut and the second from the Northeast in the last three days.
