Fair signs non-guaranteed training camp contract with Indiana Pacers

Former Syracuse forward C.J. Fair signed a non-guaranteed training camp contract with the Indiana Pacers on Monday, according to multiple reports.

After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, Fair played with the Dallas Mavericks in the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging four points and 2.6 rebounds over five games.

On Sunday, the Post-Standard’s Mike Waters reported that Fair would work out for the Pacers after Labor Day, but Indiana didn’t wait for the workout to extend a camp invitation.

Fair led the Orange in scoring in both his junior and senior seasons, averaging 16.5 points per game last year.
