Thirteen games highlight the Syracuse women’s basketball teams nonconference slate, with seven being held at the Carrier Dome, four in tournaments and two in true road games, according to an SU Athletics release on Friday.

The Orange could face up to four teams who finished in the Associated Press Poll’s top 20 last season. It might play No. 8 South Carolina depending on the results from the first day of the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas on Nov. 27-28.

SU also hosts No. 14 Penn State on Dec. 4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference/Big Ten Challenge before games against No. 5 Baylor on Dec. 19 and No. 20 Michigan State on Dec. 21 in the Florida Sunshine Tournament.

The Orange opens the season on Nov. 16 against 2014 Atlantic 10 Champion Fordham at 2 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
