Syracuse hadn’t been bowl eligible since 2013. That changed on Saturday night, as the Orange (6-2, 3-2 Atlantic Coast) beat No. 22 North Carolina State (5-2, 2-2), 51-41, to pick up their sixth win. The Orange were boosted by a bounceback from Eric Dungey, who accounted for 443 yards of offense and passed Donovan McNabb for most total offense in SU history.
