It is not unclear on how he crossed into the center lane. If you guys did the actual research and didn't just copy and paste articles from other newspapers, you would know this. Andrew fell asleep at the wheel. You need to fix this in your article ASAP, becuase it is very misleading, and makes the reader think that he killed himself, which is NOT TRUE. I'm very dissappointed in the lack of heart from you guys. Andrew was loved very much by everyone that he knew, show some respect and so the work thats needed to get the truth out, NOW. You have no idea what the family and friends of Andrew are going through right now, and how long it will take for our hearts to heal. YOU HAVE NO IDEA...how much he personally meant to me, and to see this disturbed me and a few of his other frinds who read this. I have experience in Journalism and write for my own school newspaper, so I know what is right and wrong concerning this matter. If you care, fix it right now, and let the public know of your corrections. If you don't believe me, check the Post-Standard website and see for yourself.

As any good journalist would know, copying stories without citing them is wrong. And I would suspect that a good journalist would take the time to fully research a story, especially a story of a man that was love as much as Andrew.(http://www.9wsyr.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=aa2a0b6a-1e7c-42c4-bae2-937c4c275426) We are all devastated by this loss as SU should be as well. He was not just a friend, he was a son, a boyfriend, someone you could talk to. Any further articles regarding Andrew Mapley should be written carefully because we are all still hurting. Have some compassion... He was your classmate... Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at Jewell Funeral Homes, Inc., 13164 South St. (Route 34), Cato, NY. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Cato Union Church, Main St., Cato. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Andrew Thomas Mapley Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 161, Meridian, NY 13113.
