Abstract:
UPDATED 3:31 p.m. -- Eric Devendorf tore the ACL in his left knee Saturday night and will miss the remainder of the season, Syracuse officials announced Sunday.
Pete Moore, SU's athletic communications director said an MRI this morning revealed the damage and confirmed the Orange's worst hopes that its second-leading scorer would be lost for the rest of the season....

They ALL have to come back. If they do, we should have a Final Four team again.

If Boeheim is able to convince Greene to stick around next year, that's gonna be one great team, with the return of Devo and Rautins.
At least we don't have to worry about Josh Wright turning the ball over anymore.

No one wants to see a player hurt or a season lost, but let's face it - this is already shaping up as a rebuilding year with guarded prospects for big time results. If this unfortunate injury extends Devendorf's playing career at Syracuse and helps provide quality and depth to next year's squad, we can accept a mediocre finish for the current team.

Really horrible news. I bet Wright is kicking himself for quitting now as he would see more playing time than he ever has with Deve out. What a way for a senior "leader" to let down their team.
