Anti-Michigan stems from inferiority complex felt by many other Big Tens - Iowa, Michigan State, etc. What other school is top-notch in almost every department? - The only schools I can think of are Berkeley, Chicago, and several Ivy League universities. Michigan alumnus are first to be recruited by top companies, and rightfully so...since Michigan is a world-renowned university.
