Abstract:
Less than two minutes had gone by in the second quarter, and already Penn State was starting to empty out the bench.

Backup quarterback Pat Devlin trotted out onto the field to spell starter Daryll Clark, his team up by 21 and in complete control of the game....

Get rid of Robinson now. He has made Syracuse into the laughing stock of college football in just four years. What good has he done for the university? Fire him now!

Pathetic - the AD and the coach should be fired immediately! Gross actually had the nerve to send out an email to alums this week spouting about the success of SU athletics and asking for money. Does the dope bother to read the sports pages?

Athletic Director Daryl Gross and his superior Chancellor Nancy Cantor are making losers of alumni and students. They have humiliated the poor kids wearing the uniform.

What is wrong with the Trustees ? Are they over-medicated doddering fools ?

AD is a not very good liar [we all know hat he did @ USC and was NOT qualified for his present job] .. and his boss was shoved hard out of Illinois where she alienated alumni, faculty and students.

Football Coach Robinson was obviously a twice-terminated failure in his last 2 jobs and had no recent contacts for student-athlete recruiting --anywhere -- let alone the East Coast.

Utter stupidity. This coach is amog the 4 most highest paid university employees. Stupidity !

No excuses Cantor. Many alums just don;t like your boney rat face, let alone your Piled High & Deep arrogant stupidity. Get lost !

WHERE ARE JAKE CROUTHAMEL AND PAUL PASQUALONI,
BRING THEM BACK.

LET US NOT FORGET WHAT A LIAR NANCY CANTOR IS, SHE
GAVE COACH P. A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE FOR ONE MORE
SEASON AND FIRED HIM 2 WEEKS LATER. DARYL GROSS
IS ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT HIS CRONIES FROM THE WEST
COAST AND UNIFORM FASHIONS!

PLEASE LOARD BRING US A CHANCELLOR, AN A.D.,
AND COACH!

I'm sorry, I think I missed something Saturday. Was SU suppose to be playing football?
AS for AD Gross I think it would be a good idea for everyone to chip in and help him and his athletic program by sending him piles of Monopoly money. In fact maybe he should be paid in it, along with Robinson and the Chancellor.
And to think - I was planning to drive 600 miles to visit SU and take in a game. Think I'l trot over to the high school and watch some real football.

Fire these clowns now! They are bringing shame on anyone connected with SU, and screwing the rest of the sports teams at SU at the same time. Gross and Robinson should be run out of town.

Just got back home to Milwaukee after coming in for the game. Dear God, what on earth is DR. Daryl Gross thinking. Fire G-Rob, or I'm not sending money to, or spending money on, Syracuse University. That' it. I'm out.

the cuse has now reached rock bottom.time to start over, first move is fire gross and robinson, they can use same moving van. then hire young african american coach, there out there just have to have excellent search.someone who can recruit especially speed and athletic ability.have new coach have his coaching staff in tune with him. recruting is name of game. mcnabb was last decent QB why is that possible. lets stop being embarrased being a syracusse fan.

Comment on the story: Fact is that although there were over 45000 fans at the Sauna Dome on Saturday, there were NOT that many cheering for the Orange. The Lions fans had to comprise at least 1/3 of the total, if not more. That was obvious at the end when about the only Orange left in the stands were the permanent seat cushions you guys pay $35 for.

BTW, thanks for the scrimmage.

LOL @scrimmage. That was an away practice. The 2nd string came in at the 2nd quarter. Walkons in the third. Infact everyone in Penn state got so much playing time they had to practice their two minute drill with their first team after the 2nd and third stringers came in. What the $#&@? Are you sure SYracuse can compete with highschool teams?????
