What started as hysteria trying to salvage their dinosaur business turned into a nice cottage industry as the RIAA realized they could profit by suing children and their parents.

This is as ironic, and almost as obscene, as 50 Cent's life story. An industry that peddles sex, violence and criminality claiming damages because of something akin to kids sneaking and watching R rated movies on HBO.
