I am very proud of the students and faculty of my Alma Mater. With so many universities today drowning out highly respected speakers on their campus who are conservative leaning and in some cases causing them to leave before the speech is completed, the warm welcome that Syracusans gave to our Supreme Court Chief Justice was fantastic. Reading that SU students even wore suits to the occasion on a hot day in the middle of the week blew my mind.
