With people writing open letters to the AD and voicing their comments on all sorts of websites, they should be courageous enough to send them to Daryl directly.
Two Olympic sports have done well as a result of his decisions, cross country and field hockey. That's the same number of sports he cut. Womens Basketball is also doing well, but that does not make up for the floundering football program. He cant take credit for lacrosse as he merely left it be. However it should be noted that they also had their worst year in the last few decades under Gross. Saw their final fours streak end and missed the playoffs. Basketball has missed the last two NCAA tournaments under Gross.
Cowardly would be calling ESPN, as Gross did, to defend himself, and throwing the head football coach, who Gross personally picked and decided to retain for this one win season, under the bus.
But please Dick, feel free to comb this comment for punctuation and spelling errors. You have to do something with your time as you're not paying attention to our athletic department.
