Good thing Governor Spitzer had his eyes on California and not the neighboring state of New Jersey. The first round of stem cell grants in NJ only funded about 6% hESC. Cord blood and mice cells got the bulf of the grants. Hard to believe that what was to be predominantly hESC funding wound up funding other areas of research in New Jersey.
