Apologies, apologies. Mea culpa, mea culpa. I watched the first half of the game from VA and was so upset I turned off the game at half convinced our lack of defense and many turnovers doomed the Orange to be crush. I probably would have checked in before the second half ended but Mrs Brennan had seized the remote.

Well this is the beauty of Orange basketball. One team goes into a locker room and a different team comes out. I'm sorry I gave up prematurely and Pat Brennan pledges not to do that again. This isn't pledge week is it?

Sometimes it feels good to be wrong.

And Pat, we're all equally glad that Singletary was battling strep throat even more than he was trying to best his SU counterparts on the floor.

We sure hope Singletary gets well very soon and helps his team beat everyone else on Virginia's schedule to make SU's win loom even bigger in front of the NCAA selection committee that meets later in the season.

Amen.
