You obviously have no clue what The Kooks are about. The band is GENRE-LESS (if you had ever read an article about them you would know). Why do you feel the need to pigeon–hole them? Is it because you feel as a writer you need to stick to one formula in order to perform a less than capable review?!

Hey Dan, you can knock The Kooks for not sticking to one genre, but you should use spell check before you do it. You're also way off the mark calling the first record "original" compared to this new one. The Kooks wear their influences on their sleeve, and that's part of the reason I like them so much. This record has just broadened those influences.
