Coach Boeheim is a class act and a fabulous ambassador for Syracuse University , both as a former player playing alongside Dave Bing and , of course, as a coach. He truly deserves all his success.
Just as important these days, he can make us forget about the autumn days of bad football and the pounding Penn State is going to apply soon. The University's best coaches are in basketball, lacrosse,rowing and tennis and sadly, not in football.

Thanks for a great story Tyler. I appreciate the human interest content of so many of your articles, which are not just scores and stats, but what actually goes on in the minds of the players and coaches and how their personalities and emotions help them succeed.
