This game told us a few things.

1. We have a young and talented team that is still developing and will be a real force - not this year - but over the next few. We're going to be rather inconsistent in '07/'08.

2. This is what you expect when you don't frontload the schedule with patsies like Stonehill, Lafayette, Iona and Rider. Better this way.

3. College basketball is improving in the Northeast and the Atlantic 10 is catching up with the Big East.

4. If we go into the Big East schedule with 4 or 5 non conference losses, we're probably going to the NIT rather than the NCAA's in March.

The good news is that there is lots of hope for a three or four year run of powerhouse basketball for the 'Cuse just on the horizon.
