Syracuse women's basketball remains winless in January, falling to West Virginia, 67-49, in Morgantown, W.Va., Wednesday night.
The loss marks the fifth consecutive for the Orange (8-14, 2-7) and the seventh in the last eight games.
Junior Vaida Sipaviciute recorded her 10th career double-double, finishing with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while forward Fantasia Goodwin scored a team-high 15 points. Freshman Nicole Michael totaled nine points and nine rebounds.
Syracuse went into halftime down by 10 points but fell behind by as much as 17 in the second half and WVU ended the game on a 13-5 run. Syracuse shot just 29.3 percent from the field for the game.
