If you enjoy guitar solos that last longer than the average Fergie song or you love lyrics so complex they make a John Mayer song sound like a Mother Goose nursery rhyme -then log onto "Your ultimate prog rock resource."
This place literally has it all as far as progressive rock music goes - including a definition so detailed it includes explanations of such bizarre genres as Math Rock, Zeuhl and Krautrock (Neu! anyone?). Here's the short version: "Progressive rock is an ambitiou, eclectic and often grandiose style of rock music…(seeking) to move away from the limitations of radio formatted rock and pop, and 'progress' rock to the point that it could achieve the sophistication of jazz or classical music." Awesome story!! I'm 25 yrs old. Probably youngest prog fan ever. One thing though, the Rush song "The Camera EYE" not "The Camera CHASE." Got name of album/CD right though. (Continued…)

WOW!
Being an ex-Orange, and remembering days of Hunington Beach being known to us "Headbangers" as "Metal Beach" because of the KNAC bumper Stickers all over the place, its nice to know 'someone' from Orange County appreciates all things "Progressive"!
Yes, we are out there, scowering the internet, deep within the aisle of Record shops looking for the bands NO ONE has heard of, because they don't make "Hit Singles . (Continued…)
