The Student Association Board of Elections is investigating charges of illegal flyer posting against SA presidential candidate Andrew Thomson and SA comptroller candidate Erin Maghran, said Laura Yamin, BEM chairwoman. Yamin has received multiple complaints about posters for Maghran and Thomson in the Schine Student Center, Yamin said.

The Syracuse Police Department charged Syracuse University student Andrew Iadeluca, a junior in the School of Management, early Wednesday for driving while intoxicated, refusing to submit to a chemical test, and failure to keep right. At about 2:15 a.m.
Fire in basement forces students out of Flint Hall

A small fire broke out in the basement mechanical room of Flint Hall at about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, said Capt. Townsend of the Syracuse Fire Department. Engine Five put out the fire and ventailated the room, he said. Flint residents were moved into the lounges of Day Hall.
