After coming to Syracuse University from India last year, Cyril Ghosh thought he found a cheap and easy way to stay in touch with people back home. Ghosh purchased a prepaid phone card off of the Internet that allowed him to call India for 22-cents per minute, a huge saving from the 55-cent per minute plan Verizon offered.
