Judge's ruling in LSAC appeals case appropriate

Syracuse University senior Abby Rothberg's court case against the Law School Admissions Council over the issue of her learning disability is justified. Rothberg sued the LSAC after it refused to accommodate her learning disability on their standardized test, claiming the denial violates the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Terrorists win in Spain elections

Last week, Spain had its national elections. Spain's Conservative Party, who militarily supported the United States' actions in Afghanistan and Iraq, was supposed to easily win re-election against the minority Socialist Party. Instead, the conservatives who believed pro-active steps were necessary to win the war on terror were handily defeated by the Socialist Party, which is known for its appeasement stances.
