'Real World' set for SU auditions

Syracuse University may soon add more reality television stars to its already impressive list. Casting directors for the MTV reality show "The Real World" will be holding a casting call at Syracuse University next Tuesday for students interested in having their lives taped and shown to a national audience.

General manager resigns as HillTV endures staff shuffle

Joseph Iuliano Jr., former general manager of HillTV, stepped down from his position Monday citing a need to focus on his school work and a desire to return to production and behind-the-camera work. Iuliano, the general manager since January of last year, said that running the 200-person television network and keeping his grade point average up was just too much.
Men ambush student near residence
Staff Reports A student was robbed by two men as he walked to his home at about 10 p.m. Monday between Comstock and Jamesville avenues, according to a Campus Hot News release. The two men - described as black and between 18- and 20-years-old - approached the student from different directions and demanded he give them the contents of his wallet, the report stated.
