All year, the Syracuse men's soccer team has worked on a particular play off of its corner kicks. The play is designed to use the vertical jump of defenseman Ezra Prendergast in the box, hoping the 6-foot junior can redirect the pass from the corner into the net with his head.

Ince ran track in her home country, Trinidad and Tobago, where her natural running talent was discovered at the age of 14. "Having no experience at all," Ince said, "and performing well in the races I participated in surprised me that I could run so well.
SU to miss tournament
Staff reports The Syracuse women's soccer team not only lost a game to Boston College on Sunday, it failed to qualify for the Big East tournament for the third straight season. SU fell to the No. 23 Eagles, 2-0. It was the Orange's final Big East game of the season.
