Billy Edelin made his long-awaited return to the Syracuse men's basketball team Wednesday night, and the fans certainly made him feel welcome. With 8:44 to play in the first half against St. Bonaventure, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim inserted his junior point guard into the lineup for the first time in nearly 11 months.
Las Vegas, Hawaii Bowls possible for SU

For the first time since 2001, the Syracuse football team will be invited to a postseason bowl game. While last season SU was left out of the bowl picture despite having the necessary six wins, that scenario will not repeat itself this year. While some players on the Syracuse men's basketball team may fluctuate in terms of production, there always seems to be one consistent option - senior Josh Pace. The senior guard, who played three different positions in Syracuse's 91-67 win over St. Bonaventure on Wednesday night at the Carrier Dome, scored 14 points and 10 rebounds in just 22 minutes of playing time.

Even though he plays for Colgate, the highlight of senior co-captain Keith Williams' basketball career is winning the New York Class "C" State Championship when he was a junior in high school. The best part of that championship for Williams was that he got to share the victory with his best friend, Daniel Green, who was a sophomore with him at Poly Prep Country Day School.
