Character bio: Billy and Jimmy Lee
These two bad dudes from "Double Dragon," a.k.a. "Spike" and "Hammer," have been kicking ass and taking names since the game's arcade debut in 1987. Through their vast assortment of moves, including back kicks, punches, elbows, head butts and flying knee attacks, they've taken on the Black Warrior clan year after year for various reasons, from saving Billy's girlfriend to avenging her death to, well ... no one's really sure what the plot of "Double Dragon III" is, but the game still rocks.

Sim Farm Maxis PC 1993 For those who haven't spent much time in the country, "Sim Farm" was a great way to sow wild oats and get some real-life farming experience. For those whose daily routine includes mucking stalls, "Sim Farm" was a great way to laugh at everyone who thought it represented a real-life farming experience.

By Scott Stahl
1. "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2" - THPS2 is what every extreme sports game aspires to be. It's fun, expansive and controls beautifully. In fact, it's so good that Neversoft has re-released the same game two more times under the guise of being "sequels." 2. "SSX3" - Sorry 1080 fans, but SSX3 is the best snowboarding game ever released.
