It was Winter Break at Syracuse University. Rochelle Coleman and Krystalyn Ellerbe didn't have any classes to worry about before or after practice. So the two roommates became two of Blockbuster Video's top customers. They bought a Blockbuster movie pass, and would raid the shelves every two nights and give their television a longer workout than two days of women's basketball practice.

Orange's Kasel back in net after broken collarbone

Jen Kasel knew something was wrong, but she decided to return to practice. It was early October and a routine shot struck the Syracuse women's lacrosse team's starting goalie directly on her right collarbone. Eventually, the pain became too great and head coach Lisa Miller sent her to the hospital for X-rays.

Orange loses season finale

For the second straight meeting, the Syracuse women's basketball team faced a large halftime deficit against Georgetown. And although on Tuesday night the Orange came closer than before, Syracuse still fell short, 73-67 in the regular-season finale for both teams.
