The Student Association met Monday to discuss involving the Public Relations Student Society of America as a public relations association for the student association, said SA assembly member Ryan Kelly. "With all the bad press on campus, many students feel that we, the Student Association, are not doing our job to the best of its ability and are not involved enough on campus," Kelly said in a statement before the assembly.

A new study reveals flaws in the calculation of federal student loan programs' costs. A Price Waterhouse Coopers study released last week revealed biases in the current cost-calculating system, leading federal budget scorekeepers to underestimate the costs of the Federal Direct Loan Program and overestimate the costs of the Federal Family Education Loan Program.

A Syracuse University student's car was broken into Sunday at around 8 p.m. while she was visiting her boyfriend at the 100 block of Lynch Street, according to a Syracuse Police report. The student walked out of her boyfriend's residence to find a white male, later identified as Lawrence J.
