New energy beverage stirs controversy with name, ingredients

Illegal since 1914, Cocaine is back on store shelves. A beverage company found a way to elicit the effects and highs of the drug through an energy drink. Cocaine, a new drink produced by Redux Beverages and released in December, exploded its way into a highly competitive energy drink market, where it prides itself on being "the legal alternative" to the drug.
