Grand jury indicts SU senior with one count of second-degree murder

An Onondaga County grand jury indicted former Syracuse University student Timothy Ginocchetti with one count of second-degree murder on Thursday, according to The Post-Standard. Ginocchetti, a senior engineering major and Manlius native, was charged with second-degree murder at Manlius Town Court on Aug. 24 after allegedly stabbing his mother to death on the evening of Aug. 23, as reported in The Daily Orange.
SU student pleads not guilty to murder charge

Former Syracuse University senior Timothy Ginocchetti plead not guilty to one count of second-degree murder today at 8:30 a.m. in Onondaga County Court, said Judge Anthony F. Aloi, who is presiding over the trial.

This year's Block Party will feature hip-hop artists Ciara and Lupe Fiasco along with alt-rockers TV on the Radio, according to a message sent to members of the SU Concert Connection Facebook group Thursday night. The April 22 show starts at 8 p.m. in the Carrier Dome; doors open at 7.
