Jenkinson emerges as unlikely faceoff leader for Syracuse lacrosse

After barely getting any attempts in the X at the beginning of the season, and in his first two years, Jenkinson leads the team in faceoff winning percentage with a 65.4 percent mark. He will try and continue his recent success when No. 2 Syracuse takes on No. 5 Princeton Saturday (2:30 p.m., ESPNU) in the Big City Classic at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - As John Galloway headed to the sidelines after the final buzzer Saturday, the post-game celebration erupted on the other end of the field. Princeton goalie Tyler Fiorito jumped into the arms of one of his defenders, then the rest of the Tigers rushed onto the field and engulfed their goalie.
Top scorer Dove leads Syracuse women's lacrosse into another weekend doubleheader

Change would have meant something more significant. For Dove, her 200th point Sunday was simply proof that the No. 7 Orange's (8-2, 3-0) offense is productive. It proves that when the team meets No. 8 Georgetown Friday night in Washington, D.C., Dove and her offense have what it takes to score on the road. That when the team meets No. 13 Loyola Sunday at 1 p.m. in Baltimore, she can be confident that she'll most likely score again.
Syracuse tennis gears up for 3 road matches in 3 days to end regular season

The Orange (12-5, 6-2 Big East) will close out its season this weekend with a three-day, three-match road trip to Georgetown, Seton Hall and St. John's. Syracuse has won four-straight matches coming into the weekend.
Rough California trip prompts tougher practices, better play for SU softball

After the disappointing early-March road trip left the Orange reeling, SU has now picked up the pieces, along with four wins in its last six Big East games. According to freshman infielder Stephanie Watts, it's a giant step in the right direction.
Syracuse women's rowing to face No. 1 Yale on Onondaga Lake

The crew will carry over momentum from last week's success at No. 20 Boston University into tonight's races. Last week, the Orange made its season debut by winning four of six races against BU. The rowers of the novice four boat, which consisted of freshmen Tija Bross, Victoria DiNapoli, Calli Giannopoulus, Emma Karpowicz and Anna Stolzenburg, earned the first-ever Big East Crew of the Week Award for its success.
