A year after President Obama was elected, students weigh in on the effect of Obamamania

Will O'Donnell wore it proudly the day after President Barack Obama was elected, but that was the last time he put on the light blue shirt emblazoned with Obama's campaign logo of a rising sun. "It was like the day after a sporting event when you go out wearing your team's jersey," said O'Donnell, a sophomore broadcast journalism and political science major.
UU to show 'The Men Who Stare at Goats'

George Clooney is a Jedi warrior. Or, at least he claims he is in his upcoming movie, "The Men Who Stare at Goats." Students will be able to decide for themselves when University Union presents an advanced screening of the star-studded film tonight. Clooney appears onscreen with renowned actors such as Jeff Bridges, Ewan McGregor, and Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey for the film.

Then I remembered my blood drive appointment at the Winnick Hillel Center for Jewish Life. Since my blood type is the universal donor, I couldn't turn down my scheduled donation just because I had a packed day ahead of me.

Sakana-Ya is a great place to bring someone you don't want to talk to. The kaiten-style dining, or sushi on a conveyor belt, means that the longest you'll have to wait for your food is approximately 90 seconds - the time it takes for the conveyor to make a full rotation.
