UU to screen “Bodies Bodies Bodies” in conjunction with A24

A24’s “Bodies Bodies Bodies” is a horror comedy film directed by Halina Reijn and featuring actors like Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova and Myha'la Herrold.

University Union announced their screening of A24’s new movie, “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” The event, made in partnership with A24, will be held Wednesday, September 28 at 8 p.m. The showing will be held in Shemin Auditorium inside the Shaffer Art Building, and will be free to all Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students.

“Bodies Bodies Bodies,” recently released on Aug. 5, is a new horror-comedy film directed by Halina Reijn. The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace and Pete Davidson.

“Bodies Bodies Bodies” follows a group of rich, teenage friends throwing a party during a hurricane in a secluded mansion, and the subsequent mysterious events that take place — while simultaneously poking fun at the horror genre.

A24 is an independent television and film production company known for their horror and drama movies such as The Lighthouse, Midsommar and The Green Knight, as well as hit
shows such as Euphoria.
